A recently-formed partnership between CPIT and the Jaipuria Institute of Management of India has swung into action, with the arrival of six interns from India, who are taking part in New Zealand Studies programme delivered by the CPIT School of Business.
As part of a memorandum of understanding or MoU, a two-week internship programme is giving the Masters of Business Administration students from the Jaipuria instutes's Delhi and Lucknow campuses the opportunity to learn more about the New Zealand business environment with an added focus on the Christchurch rebuild.
CPIT international market sector manager Sushrutha Metikurke said it was hoped the visit, which included Canterbury and Otago field trips and academic presentations in and around the Madras Street campus, could be reciprocated, with CPIT students invited to attend a similar programme hosted by the Jaipuria institute in India.
