Learning Services

Learning Services is a free service that offers learning and study advice to Ara students. We focus on supporting Ara students to manage their own study, and to develop the academic and maths skills required to complete coursework successfully.

There are a wide range of resources for students which can be accessed electronically on Campus Life or print versions are available in the Christchurch City or Timaru campus Libraries.

A key resource to check out is the range of guided learning pathways; online multi-media resources that teach you about academic skills and test your understanding.

Learning Services also offers regular opportunities for group learning and study. Come along to our academic Workshops and Q&A Clinics or attend weekly study groups for challenging courses.

Join our Library and Learning Services Facebook page to keep up-to-date with information and events.

For more information, talk to staff in the Library, phone 03 940-8089 or email learningservices@ara.ac.nz
