Essential Civil Skills (licencing)

This pre trade course sets you up for working at entry level in construction as well as the chance to seek apprenticeship training.

Note: Whether you complete the licencing pathway (RCEC20) or the Preliminaries pathway (RCEC21) will be determined by your current vehicle licencing category.

On completion you can enter into the industry as a skilled civil construction worker with one of many companies currently seeking skilled employees.

February, June 12 weeks $1,500 - $1,700
Essential Civil Skills (preliminaries)

During this course you will develop core skills in the areas of paving, concreting and construction infrastructure.

Note: Whether you complete the licencing pathway (RCEC20) or the Preliminaries pathway (RCEC21) will be determined by your current vehicle licencing category.

On completion you can enter into the industry as a skilled civil construction worker with one of many companies currently seeking skilled employees.

Plaster Board

Within this course you will develop the key skills needed to gain work as an assistant to a plasterboard fixer or finisher. These skills include; fixing and finishing plasterboard to walls and level ceilings, checking framing and substrate, identification and ordering of stopping and finishing compounds.

Plumbing Pre Trade

The Plumbing Pre Trade course has been designed to give you all the fundamental skills needed to begin a career in Plumbing, Gasfitting or Drainlaying.

Completion of this course will put you in a strong position when applying for an apprenticeship in a plumbing, gasfitting or drainlaying company and for working towards a National Certificate qualification and registration.
